BJP Leader Eatala Rajender Urges Telangana Government for Immediate Flood Relief Measures

Date:

BJP leader Eatala Rajender has called on the Telangana government to take urgent and comprehensive action to address the widespread damage caused by heavy rainfall and flooding across the state. Highlighting the plight of residents whose homes and belongings have been severely affected, Rajender stressed the need for a swift government response to mitigate the crisis.

Rajender urged the state authorities to conduct an immediate damage assessment and release necessary funds to support affected families. He emphasized that the government must actively participate in cleaning flood-hit areas and implement long-term drainage solutions, including the construction of stormwater drains to prevent recurring flooding. “Permanent measures to resolve drainage issues are essential to protect citizens from future disasters,” he said.

The BJP leader also demanded prompt repairs of damaged roads, particularly tar roads, which have suffered extensive damage due to the incessant rains. He further recommended the establishment of health camps in flood-affected localities to prevent potential outbreaks of waterborne diseases.

Pointing to the large and floating population of Hyderabad, Rajender underscored the need for immediate financial releases and decisive action to address the crisis. He appealed to the government to ensure that relief and rehabilitation efforts are carried out without delay, safeguarding both infrastructure and public health.
