Union Minister Pralhad Joshi Responds to Alleged Pro-Pakistan Slogans in Vidhan Soudha

Date:

Karnataka – Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has responded to allegations of pro-Pakistan slogans being raised in the Vidhan Soudha. He stated that a report on the incident has already been received, but further action will be taken after verifying additional clippings that former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has promised to send.

The incident allegedly occurred following the victory of Nasir Hussain. According to Joshi, almost all channels and media persons present at the time confirmed the pro-Pakistan slogans. However, no apologies or expressions of regret have been forthcoming from Hussain, the current Chief Minister, the state Home Minister, or DK Shivakumar.

Joshi expressed concern over the lack of response, stating, “They are just sending a message that Karnataka is a safe place for radical elements and also terrorists.”
