BJP Leader Raghunandan Rao Calls for Investigation into Alleged Phone Tapping

Hyderabad, India – BJP leader Raghunandan Rao has lodged a formal complaint with the Director-General (DG) of Telangana, alleging widespread phone tapping during the by-elections in November 2020.

In his complaint, Rao stated that the accused, who was recently arrested in connection with the case, confessed to tapping phones during the by-election period. The BJP leader has requested the DG to investigate the matter thoroughly and hold those responsible accountable.

“My request to the DG of Telangana is the Telangana CM should be made accused number one,” Rao said in a statement. He further alleged that several other individuals were involved in the case, indicating a potential conspiracy.

The allegations have sparked a political storm in the state, with the opposition demanding a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter. The ruling party has yet to respond to the allegations.
