Agri Tech South 2024 and Agri Vision 2024 to showcase latest innovations in agriculture sector

Hyderabad, (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII-Telangana) is all set to host the fourth edition of Agri Tech South 2024 and Agri Vision 2024 at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University here from February 16 to 18.

The event, which is expected to attract over 30,000 visitors, 150 exhibitors and 1,000 delegates, aims to create a platform to showcase and introduce the best and latest agri inputs, products, services and technologies that would drive the agriculture of the future.

The event will also feature a two-day conference on the theme of “Transforming Agriculture for a Sustainable and Resilient Future”, where eminent speakers from the government, industry, academia and civil society will share their insights and perspectives on various topics related to the challenges and opportunities in the agriculture sector.

The event will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, who is also the president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. The Minister for Agriculture, Marketing, Cooperation, Handlooms and Textiles, T. Nageswara Rao, will be the guest of honour at the inaugural session.

The event will also have several co-located events, such as Women in Agriculture, Innovation Challenge, Start-up pitches to venture capitalists, foreign trade lounge, hybrid event offering, Agriculture Industry Achievement Awards, and South India’s inaugural Agriculture Hall of Fame.

According to CII-Telangana, the event is being organised in consonance of the efforts of the Indian government for making India self-sufficient in food grain production and increasing farm income, as well as the vision of the Telangana government for making the state a leader in agriculture and allied sectors.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Government of Telangana, the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), and various industry associations and organisations.

The event is open for all stakeholders of the agriculture sector, including farmers, agripreneurs, researchers, policy makers, investors, students and media. For more details and registration, visit the official website of the event here.
