Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy Criticizes Telangana Congress Government’s Unfulfilled Promises

Date:

Hyderabad, Telangana — Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy has criticized the Congress government in Telangana for failing to deliver on its pre-election promises and guarantees within the first hundred days of its administration. Speaking to the media, Reddy highlighted the government’s shortcomings in implementing various schemes, particularly those related to agricultural loan waivers.

“The Congress government in Telangana has not fulfilled its promises made during the election campaign,” Reddy stated. “One of the major assurances was the waiver of loans for farmers, which remains unfulfilled to this day.” He added that the delay in implementing these promises has led to growing dissatisfaction among the farming community.

Reddy revealed that the BJP has been receiving numerous complaints from farmers regarding the unfulfilled guarantees. “We have opened a call center to address these concerns, and hundreds of farmers have reached out to us,” he said. The BJP’s intervention includes deploying party workers to personally engage with the affected farmers and offer support.

To further highlight the issues and hold the Congress government accountable, Reddy announced that the BJP would publish a white paper detailing the shortcomings and unmet promises of the current administration. “We will be publishing a white paper to document the discrepancies and failures of the Congress government,” Reddy added. This move aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the government’s performance and transparency regarding its electoral commitments.

The criticism from Reddy comes amid increasing scrutiny of the Congress government’s ability to deliver on its pledges. The BJP’s proactive approach in addressing the grievances of farmers and calling for transparency reflects the party’s strategy to hold the state government accountable and mobilize public opinion.

As the situation develops, the publication of the white paper and the ongoing efforts to support farmers are expected to intensify the political debate in Telangana, focusing on the effectiveness of the Congress government’s implementation of its promises.
